Well, this Valentine's Weekend we got lots of snow. I think around seven inches. Curt's parents were suppose to keep our children while we went to lead worship for a Valentine's Marriage Retreat. Because of the inclement weather coming, Nancy came a day early and Jim wasn't able to come b/c of the sleet/snow all along his route on Friday. So, Nana had the three kids by herself. They lost power on Sunday for a few hours, but they had a great weekend.
We had a great time too. We got to meet some really neat people. I met a couple who served as missionaries in Uganda for five years. The lady Amy was telling me how one night in a dream God told her to go adopt this little girl. He even told her to name her Savannah. She and her husband didn't have any children, but they went to an orphanage and told them they wanted to adopt a child. The people in the orphanage brought out the babies. THAT day they walked away with a new daughter. They've since had two biological children. Neat people. We also met a couple from Tifton, GA. Auburn alums: WAR EAGLE. The wife, Lisa kept having headaches, but thought it was nothing, but they decided to do an CT Scan and found a grapefruit size tumor on her brain. They did surgery and within hours she was sitting up talking with her husband. Went home two days later. Crazy stuff. We enjoyed spending time with new friends and each other. Lake Forest Ranch is a GREAT place to go. They have all kinds of retreats and summer camps for kids. Our family is going back for the family retreat Labor Day Weekend. Can't wait to take the kids there.
Sophie's Heart outfit Nana gave her for Valentine's Day. I couldn't get her to hold still, thus the assistance from Roe. I guess Sophie was letting me know what she thought about this by sticking her tongue out.

Snow Covered Trees
Snow Covered Trampoline: Yes, the children jumped on it.
Roe really enjoyed rolling giant snowballs. It started while he was building Frosty the Snowman, but it continued the rest of the afternoon.
Sophie is checking out Frosty.

More Giant Snowball Rolling
Giant Snowball still together 3 days later.
Sophie just sank in the snow. She LOVED it.
